Alison is a member of the litigation team with Cors & Bassett and her practice focuses primarily on Labor & Employment, Construction, Transportation, Workers’ Compensation, and Franchising.

Background

Alison is a litigation associate with Cors & Bassett. She attended the University of Kentucky on a Presidential Scholarship for her participation in the Governor’s Scholars Program. In 2010, Alison graduated summa cum laude with Honors, majoring in Marketing and Spanish.

After undergrad, Alison attended law school at the University of Kentucky College of Law where she served as Online Editor for the Kentucky Journal of Equine, Agriculture, and Natural Resources Law. Alison was also the recipient of the award for Best Appellant Brief in her writing class, the CALI Award for achieving the highest grade in Corporation Finance Law, and the Northern Kentucky Bar Association A.J. Jolly Scholarship for achieving the highest GPA of all University of Kentucky College of Law students from the Northern Kentucky area.

Prior to joining Cors & Bassett, Alison served as Staff Attorney to Boone Circuit Judges, Anthony Frohlich and Richard Brueggemann. She also completed a one-year term clerkship for Magistrate Judge Candace Smith in the United States District Court, Eastern District of Kentucky.
