PROFILE
James M. Rueger is a Family Law practitioner and he also handles various civil, personal injury and probate litigation cases. General estate administration and various probate litigation also is part of his practice. Family law includes the representation of individuals in divorce and in dissolution matters. Support and custody issues can also be involved, either during the process of terminating the marriage or after the divorce or dissolution is granted (post-decree). These issues can be emotional and very complicated. Mr. Rueger’s experience for over a quarter of a century in this area allows him to work with his clients in a manner that will fully protect their interests and minimize the stress. Mr. Rueger is a graduate of Purdue University (1971) where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management degree. After graduation, he served as an officer in the United States Navy. Upon completing his service, he attended law school at night at the Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where he graduated in 1977.
