Scott is an
associate attorney at Cors & Bassett,
LLC. He practices in the litigation group,
and representing clients across a vast array
of general litigation matters, including:
litigation of wrongful discharge and discrimination
cases; plaintiff’s personal injury
cases, including product liability and medical
malpractice actions; general business and
contract disputes; workers compensation;
insurance defense; and criminal defense.
Scott graduated from the University of
Cincinnati College of Law in 1999. He devoted
the first year of his practice to his own
office, where he concentrated in the areas
of criminal defense and plaintiff personal
injury, during which time he served on the
Felony Panel for the Public Defender’s
Office in Hamilton County, Ohio. Prior to
attending law school, Scott attended Thomas
More College in Crestview Hills, Kentucky,
where he graduated, summa
cum laude, with a B.A. in English
and an A.A. in Pre-Legal Studies. He is
a published poet, a former soccer coach
at Simon Kenton High School, and a former
member of the Junior National Men’s
Soccer team. Scott is admitted to practice
in the State of Ohio, the United States
District Court for the Southern District
of Ohio (Western Division), the Commonwealth
of Kentucky, and the United States District
Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky.
