Jim is a member of the corporate and real estate groups at Cors & Bassett. Jim also is President of Sawyer Point Title, Inc., the firm’s wholly owned title agency.

In addition to being an attorney, Jim is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and licensed title agent. He has previously held licenses as a real estate agent and as a securities broker and agent.

Prior to joining Cors & Bassett, Jim was in private practice and owned and operated a real estate development company.

Jim received his Juris Doctor from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law. He also earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Cincinnati. Jim is admitted to practice in the State of Ohio.

Jim helped found the Joint Arbitration Committee of the Cincinnati Bar Association and the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors for disputes concerning earnest money and currently serves as an arbiter for the Committee.

He is a presenter of professional continuing education classes for the Ohio Bar Association, Cincinnati Bar Association and the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors.
