The
summer associate experience mirrors the
firm's overall atmosphere. Each summer associate
is assigned a member mentor and an associate
mentor who serve as guides throughout the
summer. Outside of mentors, all the attorneys
take a vested interest in making sure that
summer associates get a true feel for what
it is like to be an attorney at Cors &
Bassett.
At Cors & Bassett, summer associates
are given a significant amount of responsibility,
allowing them to experience a work-load
comparable to that of a first year associate.
Rather than being confined to one particular
practice area, summer associates are given
the opportunity to assist with work in each
of the firm's practice areas. If, however,
you prefer to work in a particular practice
area, Cors & Bassett will make sure
that you receive a substantial portion of
your assignments from that particular practice
area.
The summer associate program combines the
working atmosphere with the social atmosphere
of the firm. Voted One

a Law Degree, the firm provides many
outings throughout the summer, some of which
are golf, baseball games, the ATP tennis
tournament, summer picnic, labor day fireworks,
and many others.
When extending offers to summer associate
candidates, the firm never offers more summer
associate positions than it is willing to
hire.
