Susan R. Bell
generally represents management in all areas
of labor and employment law, including litigation
of wrongful discharge cases and discrimination
cases, litigation of trade secret and non-competition
cases and advising management on employment
relations. Her practice also includes general
commercial litigation. Susan has represented
clients in mediation and arbitration, before
the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission,
state discrimination agencies, and various
state and federal courts, including the
following jury trials: plaintiff’s
verdict in the U.S. District Court for the
Southern District of Ohio (Cincinnati);
defense verdict in the U.S. District Court
for the Southern District of Ohio (Columbus);
defense verdict in Hamilton County Court
of Common Pleas; and defense verdict in
Butler County Court of Common Pleas.
Susan graduated from the University of
Cincinnati College of Law in 1998, where
she served as the Publications Editor of
the Law Review. Prior to law school, she
received her Bachelor’s Degree (Magna
Cum Laude) and Master’s Degree in
music from the University of Cincinnati
College Conservatory of Music, as well as
a Master’s Degree in Education from
the University of Cincinnati College of
Education.
